SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Associate #1 picks and stocks products in the warehouse under direction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Picks product from pick documents.
  • Stocks product from put away documents.
  • Maintains a 98% accuracy level.
  • Maintains 350 lines per hour picked.
  • Maintains 650 lines stocked per hour.
  • Completes cycle counts as needed.
  • Follows and complies with all safety, warehouse, company policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience preferred but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The work environment is a warehouse, with constant exposure to dust, dirt, noise, heat, cold, and fumes. There is some vibration and noise from forklifts and the like. There are some moving mechanical parts.
