We are currently searching for a dedicated professional to be our new Store Manager. The new Store Manager will be responsible for maximizing retail sales; the development of the sales team; and, managing and maintaining operating standards.
As Our New Store Manager, You Will:
- Demonstrates excellence in customer service/sales ability.
- Supervise employees in customer service, sales techniques, merchandise processing and presentation, and POS procedures.
- Manage sales team by assigning duties to employees and scheduling work hours, break periods, and time off requests to ensure the proper level of customer service, sales, and store goals are met.
- Interview, hire, train, and development of store employees. Duties may also include: performance appraisal, coaching, disciplining, and recommending terminations.
- Resolves customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Keeps up to date with product assortment/knowledge and merchandise promotions.
- Be responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and practices.
- Be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal laws.
- Responsible for checking customer I.Ds, ensuring all customers entering the store is over the age of 18.
- Ensure appropriate stock levels (inventory control) are maintained, merchandise tagging and signage. Ensures all shipments are processed accurately.
Qualifications Include:
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
- An Associate's Degree or equivalent AND 3 to 5 years of related experience in a retail environment.
- Strong technical aptitude (POS Systems, Inventory Software). Also to include email and Microsoft Suite programs.
- Willingness and ability to travel to multiple store locations as requested.
- Ability to approach others in a tactful manner and accept responsibility for actions and performance of the store.
- Verifiable experience developing, maintaining and analyzing company metrics.
- Ability to accurately make decisions and resolve employee and customer related grievances.
- Have prior experience with employee training & development, customer service expectations, merchandise control & presentations, opening and closing procedures.
