We are currently searching for an experienced retail professional to be our new Director of Marketing and Visual Merchandising. The new Director of Marketing and Visual Merchandising will be responsible for translating our Company’s brand vision to our customers. We are looking for a creative thinker who constantly strives to improve existing strategies and incorporate new and innovative techniques.

As our new Director of Marketing and Visual Merchandising you will...

• Plan, direct and implement marketing initiatives and promotional programs for the company.
• Direct/oversee visual merchandising plans and implementations by focusing on a consistent brand and merchandising message for the customer.
• Oversee and evaluate market research, monitor competitive products and marketing activities, analyze internal programs and adjust marketing strategy to increase effectiveness.
• Develop and manage marketing and visual merchandising budgets.
• Manage all social network sites, branded websites and company owned websites.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities for 5 direct reports. This includes hiring, training, assigning and directing work, reviewing performance, rewarding/disciplining and resolving issues.
• Develop policies and procedures to enhance performance.

Our ideal candidate will have...

• A Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year College or University.
• 6 years related Specialty Retail Industry experience and/or training, 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and design software.
• A valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to travel locally during the normal workday and travel overnight to out of state locations/trade shows.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
